Hi, informative for a novice like me.....wondered about combining more than 1 company's products and because these are the easiest to access, will check them both out. It's a shame the flatpax people don't have more info online, especially pricing to make an informed decision. Ikea have a great wibsite where I can play for hours and get every detail including sizes, colours and especially prices to allow me to work from home. Going out and writing everything down is time wasting and I usually get home and find I've forgotten some important detail.

Those are installed prices (ducted AC unit, plus all ducts and vents and installation work).

If the installed prices for brand name units are a lot cheaper than this, that's great, but I doubt the price has fallen so far in only 2 years.

75$!!! That's about $450 less than any of the quotes I got. Do you mind sharing the name of the place so people reading this can use them if they live near you?

Seems like a lot of work, something I wasn't willing to attempt. I got my ikea tops done professionally at a kitchen place for $75/mitre including the toggles - all came up great.
